How the Wigs are made...

A little insight into how the wigs are actually made and what would happen in the process.

Here is where the making begins. After we take a shape of your head using celotape and cling film, we make this shape full on a head block. We then form the lace around the head shape, following the hair line so it covers every bit of your head; and this is how it will only be fit for you to wear and use.

This is a what a topper or head/hair piece looks like. This is essentially half or less a head of hair. A hair piece is appropriate when you do have some hair and this will thicken what you already have without damage.

Now the lace is fitted to size to the head shape we have used on the block, we begin the knotting. Using an instrument called a 'Knotting Hook' which hooks and grabs hair to create a knot on the lace. On the back we double knot so it duraible and can last longer.

More hair is added throughout the entire lace foundation which takes a lot of time and work.

This is coming towards the end of knotting a full front lace wig. The area shown is the crown of the head where your hair begins to part. In this section we will create a place where you can have a parting and can be adjustable to where you want it.

A close up of the hair knotted onto the lace, towards the front hair line.

On the last bit of making a wig we stop using big amounts of hair and bring it all closer together and much finer so this bring the natural effect we want so you can wear your wig every day with confidence in wind, rain or shine.

A finished front lace wig - cut and styled. You can see the parting and this can be moved around. Beautifully thick so no lace will be shown anywhere.

A finished topper/hair piece. You can see the difference between this and the previous image. Less hair whilst still being quite thick and this will easily clip on or stick on but still thicken out your own style and be cut and brushed along with it like its your own.
